Information provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679.

The EU Regulation n. 679/2016 "General regulation on data protection" provides for the protection of individuals about the processing of personal data. According to the legislation indicated, this treatment will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency, adequacy, pertinence and limitation, accuracy and updating, non-excess and accountability. Personal data are processed, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1 letter a) of the GDPR, subject to your consent.

Therefore, we provide you with the following information:

3. The data you provide (name, surname, e-mail address) will be processed to allow you to subscribe to the newsletter of the research project "Clinical Validation of Artificial Intelligence to provide a personalized assessment of the motor clinical profile and the rehabilitation of upper limb in children with unilateral cerebral palsy” (AINCP).

4. The processing of your personal data will be carried out with the aid of IT and telematic tools for the sole purpose of providing you with the requested service. The Joint Data Controllers will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as encryption and pseudonymisation, aimed at effectively implementing the principles of data protection and protecting the rights of data subjects in accordance with articles 25 and 32 of the GDPR. The data will be kept at the University of Pisa, on servers located in the European Union, for the entire duration of the research project, except for a longer period for other purposes for which you will be asked for any subsequent consent.

5. The provision of your data is not mandatory, however, any refusal to supply them results in the impossibility for the Joint Controllers to process the request to send the newsletter. You may decide, at any time, to revoke your consent. This right of revocation can be exercised by selecting the "unsubscribe" option in the footer of each e-mail received.

6. The data will not be communicated or disseminated. Within the limits strictly pertinent to the purposes indicated in the previous point 1) your Data may be communicated to appropriately appointed recipients who will process the data as Data Processors and to whom adequate operating instructions will be given.

7. The designated data processor for the University of Pisa is Prof. Stefano Taddei, Director of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine of the University of Pisa.
